Songs of The Day: I Should’ve Kissed You x Beg For It x All Back

The man who won my heart. Ayweh! Chos!! Part of me was kidding and another half wasn’t. From Superhuman, Heart Ain’t A Brain, Look At Me Now, Chris Brown never fails to get my heart with his jazzy-breezy-lovely-groovy songs. I love him indeed. So here are my top three fave songs from Chris Brown’s latest album –F.A.M.E..

So addicting to the bones when I saw this vid of Brian Puspos+ChaChi doing Beg For It’s Dance. ✓✓✓

Despite the shining example of Allie and Noah’s marriage, Wilson is himself a man unable to easily express his emotions. A successful estate attorney, he has provided well for his family, but now, with his daughter’s upcoming wedding, he is forced to face the fact that he and Jane have grown apart and he wonders if she even loves him anymore. Wilson is sure of one thing–his love for his wife has only deepened and intensified over the years. Now, with the memories of his in-laws’ magnificent fifty-year love affair as his guide, Wilson struggles to find his way back into the heart of the woman he adores.

The Wedding Cover x Good Reads

The Wedding x Nicholas Sparks

After watching an interview with Nicholas Sparks at The Bottomline, and hearing all those comments about The Wedding + actually hearing about this book already for a couple of days, I can’t handle not to to have a chance to read The Wedding. I just wish our Library had a Nicholas Sparks Collection of Books (which wouldn’t really happen bec its purpose is educational so screw all my hopes) so that I won’t have hassles and I don’t have to wish to have 315 bucks just to buy this.

Romeo and Juliet x Folger

Romeo and Juliet x Shakespeare

I’m in a romance-kick so I added Romeo & Juliet to my Book Wishlist. Plus I found myself really getting so much into it since our English Teacher introduced it to us though I’ve watched it two times already (the Olivia Hussey+Leonard Whiting version and the Leo+Claire version which was really nakakakilig), I still can’t get over it. Such a fan!!! Hehehehehe

 ALPHA Books x Lisi Harrison

I’m still a teenager and I still read Chick-flick books. I have finished Alphas already, which is the first book and I feel like continuing Skye, Charlie and Allie’s journey so I felt the urge of reading the next two books.

The Great Gatsby x Wikipedia

The Great Gatsby x F. Scott Fitzgerald

The Great Gatsby is a novel by the American author F. Scott Fitzgerald. First published in 1925, it is set on Long Island’s North Shore and in New York City from spring to autumn of 1922.

The novel takes place following the First World War. American society enjoyed prosperity during the “roaring” 1920s as the economy soared. At the same time, Prohibition, the ban on the sale and manufacture of alcohol as mandated by the Eighteenth Amendment, made millionaires out of bootleggers. After its republishing in 1945 and 1953, it quickly found a wide readership and is today widely regarded as a paragon of the Great American Novel, and a literary classic. The Modern Library named it the second best novel of the 20th Century.

Wow. I really don’t see myself reading a classic novel but when I read that Leo’s doing the movie….OMG. Screw those impossibilities!!!!

I feel like getting a smoothie from Jamba Juice

For these past few days, I have heard this Jamba Juice thing from loads of people like Kiefer, Chris Tiu, some other basketball dudes and many more. So I got really curious about it. This day, as I opened up my Twitter Acc, I saw Jamba Juice trending at 10th! Promise, I immediately googled it and saw that Philippines will finally have it’s first store of Jamba Juice in Southeast Asia Friday at the Bonifacio High Street Central, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City. I’m so hoping to get to The Fort one of these days and try it and get wowed!!!!

Jamba Juice now in Manila

MANILA, Philippines — Now you can have your daily requirement of fruits and vegetables in one glass, thanks to Jamba Juice, America’s leading juice brand, which opens its first store in Southeast Asia Friday at the Bonifacio High Street Central, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City.

Brought in by the Max’s Group of Companies, Jamba Juice is expected to become the new meal alternative for those who lead active lifestyles and those interested in healthy options as it offers smoothies made from fruits flash frozen right at the peak of ripeness from all over the world.

Sharon Fuentebella, managing director of Jamba Juice Philippines, said the firm is set to grow Jamba Juice in the country and establish 40 company-owned locations in the next 10 years.

“Filipinos are now more inclined towards dynamic and active endeavors. This shift has prompted us to seek products that will complement this new lifestyle.

To date, we have the home-grown Max’s Restaurant, Max’s Corner Bakery, and franchised the worldwide sensation Krispy Kreme. And this growing portfolio inspired us to woo Jamba Juice,” Fuentebella added.

“We are in the Philippines because Sharon knocked on our door, and we are excited to be here. Sharon and the Max’s Group of Companies are the best partners we have ever worked with,” said James D. White, Jamba Juice chairman, president and chiref executive officer (CEO).

White also proudly claims that Jamba Juice uses Philippine bananas in all its stores worldwide. Fuentebella, on the other hand, said: “Our dream is to bring Philippine mangoes not only to Jamba Juice-Philippines but to the rest of Jamba Juice in the world.”

Why Jamba? “Jamba in Swahili means a celebration,” explains White. And as a healthy lifestyle brand, Jamba Juice adopted a stealth vegetable approach for children and adults who don’t like to eat their greens.

“Every (Jamba Juice) product is jam-packed full of Wow, and we believe that the more Wow you put into your body, the more Wow it will give out,” he added.

In town for the Manila opening of Jamba Juice are Thibault de Chatellus, senior vice president-International, and Dar Vasseghi, director for international operations.

Jamba Juice was founded in 1990 in San Luis Obispo, California, out of a vision to inspire and simplify healthy living. Last year, it posted a US$262.7-million revenue. As of July 12, 2011, Jamba Juice had 746 restaurant locations in the United States, consisting of 436 franchise-operated stores, 310 company-owned stores, and six international stores. Last October 28, it opened its first store in Canada, followed two weeks later by its Philippine store, Jamba Juice’s first in Southeast Asia.

Song of The Day: All ‘Cause Of You

Found this from Vern Enciso’s blog and I have to say this is my super favorite. Just so you know I have felt the mood-of-indie-rock since morning today.

Today’s Playlist:

Give in To Me – Garrett Hedlund & Leighton Meester

I’ll Stop The World – Modern English

Something Good Can Work – Two Door Cinema

Toothpaste Kisses – The Maccabees

Song of The Day: Asleep

Finally came up listening to Asleep by The Smiths on YouTube just today. I was already looking forward to listening to it since the moment my eyes saw that song on The Perks Of Being A Wallflower, a book I finished months ago but since I always have my mini-amnesia, I always forget it. That is why I feel so fulfilled when I heard the first few minutes of the song.

The song was lullaby-ish and it perfectly suited the type of song I constantly want to hear. I feel like Charlie now, loljoke.

Wow he's got the looks

PS: “Sing me to sleep… sing me to sleep…I’m tired and I want to go to bed.”
